Reclaim Chicago is proud to endorse Will Guzzardi for reelection as Illinois State Representative of the 39th District, which includes many neighborhoods on Chicago’s Northwest side, because Will has championed Reclaim Chicago’s priorities in Springfield, including introducing a bill that would close $2.5 billion in corporate tax loopholes. Will has also introduced a bill that would make public higher education free for all Illinois students,

and he has been a consistent champion of fully funded neighborhood K-12 public schools. Reclaim Chicago believes that progressives should not just pass public policies that are possible to win in today’s political climate, but that they should regularly put out a bold vision — with constituents, in the media and among fellow legislators — for how government can invest in our communities and advance racial, gender and economic equality. Will consistently engages his constituents and fellow legislators in conversations about our shared vision and how we can win our priorities. Will lives in the Logan Square neighborhood and has already served two terms as an Illinois State Representative.
